How to Get USDC/USDT on Polkadot Asset Hub

Three simple ways to get stablecoins for use on Stablecoins Club.

1. Buy Directly with Credit/Debit Card (Easiest)

You can purchase USDC and USDT directly on Polkadot Asset Hub using credit or debit cards through Ramp Network.

  • Visit rampnetwork.com
  • Select USDC or USDT and choose Polkadot Asset Hub as the network
  • Enter your Asset Hub wallet address from Talisman
  • Complete the purchase with your credit or debit card

2. Transfer from Binance

If you have USDC or USDT on any chain, you can transfer them to Binance and withdraw to Polkadot Asset Hub.

  • Transfer your USDC or USDT to Binance from any supported chain
  • Go to Withdraw and select USDC or USDT
  • Choose Statemint as the network (this is Polkadot Asset Hub on Binance)
  • Enter your Asset Hub wallet address and confirm withdrawal

Note: Binance lists Polkadot Asset Hub as "Statemint" in their withdrawal options.

3. Bridge from Ethereum

If you have USDC or USDT on Ethereum mainnet, you can bridge them to Polkadot Asset Hub using Snowbridge.

  • Visit app.snowbridge.network
  • Connect your Ethereum wallet (MetaMask) and Polkadot wallet (Talisman)
  • Select USDC or USDT and the amount to bridge
  • Confirm the transaction and wait for the bridge to complete

⚠️ Important Notice

Stablecoins Club currently does not support paying with bridged assets from Ethereum. To use bridged USDC/USDT on the marketplace, you will need to swap them for native USDC/USDT on Polkadot Asset Hub first. We recommend using options 1 or 2 above for the best experience.

💡 Pro Tip

Use the /transfer tool on Stablecoins Club to transfer USDC and USDT on Polkadot Asset Hub seamlessly. You can use USDC and USDT directly for transaction fees without needing DOT!

Prerequisites

  • Polkadot Wallet: Install Talisman (recommended - supports signing transactions and paying fees with USDC/USDT)
  • Asset Hub Address: Make sure to double check your address format when sending or requesting funds. Asset Hub address format is different from Polkadot relay chain address format. In Talisman, click "Receive" and select "Asset Hub" as the network to get the address in the correct format.
